Privacy, in plain English
No dark patterns and no fine print written to confuse you. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what we'll never do with it.
The short version: we collect your email so we can tell you about WorldLens. We don't sell it, we don't run ads, and we don't track you around the internet. That's the whole business model, so it's the whole policy too.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist or subscribe, you give us your email address. That's the main thing we hold. If you become a paying subscriber, your payment is handled by a dedicated payment processor, and your card details go to them, never to us.
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps basic server logs (things like your IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We don't mine those logs to profile you.
How we use it
We use your email to send you WorldLens: waitlist updates before launch, and the product itself once you're in. If you're a subscriber, we use it to run your account. That's the entire list.
We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't sell your attention to anyone. There's no one to sell it to, because there are no advertisers here.
What we never do
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We never run ads or place ad-tracking pixels. We never load third-party analytics that follow you across the web. If any of that ever changes, this page changes first, and we'll email you before it takes effect.
Cookies and your browser
We keep cookies to a minimum. We store one small value in your browser to remember the founding-spots count so the page loads fast. It isn't used to identify or track you, and it never leaves your device for advertising.
Who else touches your data
To run WorldLens we rely on a few trusted infrastructure providers: one to host the site, one to store the waitlist, and one to deliver our email. They only ever process your data to provide those services to us, under their own security commitments. We don't hand your data to anyone for their own use.
Your choices
You're in control. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and it works instantly. You can ask us to show you what we have on you, or to delete it entirely, by emailing the address below. We'll take care of it, no runaround.
Data from kids
WorldLens is built for adults and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top, and for anything that affects you, we'll email you before it takes effect. No quiet rewrites.
